timing.

This morning, I happened to be deeply thinking about the future and God's timing. Then, I suppose He wanted to give me a sign that He was listening.
I caught a later train, which hardly ever happens because it means arriving a few minutes late to work. Just before my stop, [keep in mind the typical reclusive nature of train riders] a young lady walked up to me and asked if I was from the area because she needed direction on the whereabouts of a place.
I responded in a 'small world' manner that I happen to work there. Since it was difficult to explain, and a little bit of a haul on foot, I told her that she could walk with me. As a fellow "freak out over logistics" kind of person, I sensed her relief. She was delighted. I was able to get her to the appropriate entrance and all.
This story is minor, but it was timely for me and a reminder that God brings the right people into our life at the right time for a bigger purpose, and we are brought into others' lives for the same reason.
