Happy Saturday!

There is always something to be grateful for. When bad times rear their ugly heads, it is easy to want to go back into your shell and shut out the world. You don't have to walk through this world numb and lost.

Believe me, I have had a lot of experience with this. Obstacle-ridden introvert here. I learned how much of this was a form of self-pity, and it was not doing me, or anyone in my life any good. It was a tough pill to swallow. I mean, really, who the heck wants to admit that?

Instead, I found little and realistic things to accomplish to lift my spirits up again. Do something that will make YOU proud of YOUrself. Take a class, help someone in need, and so on. Finish something that you have started, and watch how it snowballs into awesomeness. It will give you that feeling that you have your control back. Reach out to folks. Ask for help, if that is what you need. This is the idea that got me into Life Coaching. Not just going to Grad School for Counseling. It is because I have been there, and I received the best help from those who have been there as well. It is my passion! Also know that coaches are still people. We still make mistakes, and we are not perfect. We just might be in a different spot in the race.

Never feel ashamed to reach out. Get YOU back on track to live the life you were meant to live.

Make today count! :)
