During my lunch hour, I cracked open “The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership” by John C. Maxwell. This was a meaningful gift from my Tyra Beauty sponsor. To start, I would say that it is certainly a thought-provoking read.
The first chapter discussed “The Law of the Lid.” Let’s put this content into a nutshell. Maxwell suggests that there are specific levels of leadership, and that those levels are conducive to whether your endeavors will emanate into ultimate success. In his words, “leadership ability determines a person’s level of effectiveness.”

The takeaway that I obtained from the “The Law of the Lid,” is that it is critical to harbor great leadership skills if you want to flourish beyond measure in your business. Hard work is inescapable if you want success, but it is also important to work smarter by thinking outside of the box [as a leader would]. Be a leader, and hire other leaders and potential leaders. The result? Imminent prosperity.
