6 minute tyover. before and after.

Good day! Yesterday morning, I decided to do a 'self-makeover.' I had just received my welcome kit for becoming a Beautytainer this past Thursday. Exciting! It turned out pretty amazing. Tyra Beauty is still in beta mode, so I am still testing out all of the products. It should all be fully released next month, and I am sure even more Beautytainers will saturate the market. My team is awesome sauce, by the way. Join us here ;) : http://bit.ly/teambanshee

I started with the contour, highlight, and blush [light package]. You will see it in the instructions more detail [and of course you can always reach out to me for questions], but to sum it up... it was only a swipe of the sculpt stick under the cheekbone, a blush stick above that, and the highlighter stick above that. All in the appropriate areas, of course. I blended it all with my fingertips. I fricking love that. I am definitely not a brush fiend. C'est magnifique.

After the contour, I went onto the eye shadow/liner/mascara madness. I was very pleased with how easy the application was. I'm totally in love with the 'Eye In A Stick' in 'Once You Go Brown.' I mean, really in love. I even used a little bit on my brows.

The Oops Liner gives the liquid liner [made easier] effect. Of course, the eraser side is for the inevitable 'cat-eye mistakes.' The tip of the 'Oops Liner' is similar to a marker, and it makes application a lot easier. The liner that comes with the '6 Minute Tyover' was also used. It is a dual kohl eyeliner, that has a cream color on one side. That side [pictured] is used on the bottom portion of the eye, above the bottom lashes. Even though it was in a stick form, it was creamy as hell. I was surprised, and I really am excited about that.

The 'Smack My Fat Lash' mascara is on point. It is half blue [moisturizing], and half black. Eventually it mixes altogether, and that is A-OK. I started at the base of my lashes, and shimmied on up. The application is great, and my lashes were nice and full. I had used this product prior to this makeover, so I was already sold.

The only things used that were not included in the '6 Minute Tyover' are the 'What Lipstick?' in 'Younger Man,' and the 'Oops Liner.' For the makeover's sake, I would not say that the 'Oops Liner' will make or break anything, but it is a pretty cool product. This particular 'Tyover' does not come with lip products.

I love make-up, but I am in ZERO way high maintenance, so I don't like things to be too difficult. If you know what I mean. Between uber early wake-ups for work/toddler school dropoffs and whatever else- ain't nobody got time for that.

The [forgive the cell phone quality] pictures below are using the whole '6 Minute Tyover' [which costs almost half of what it would cost to get the items individually].

If you are not into all of the products, I have to highly recommend at least the '2 Minute Tyover,' if you would like to get to know about this whole contouring thing. Pictured here is 'light,' but even if you are light-skinned and would like to be more bold, you could definitely go the 'deep' route. I am not that brave yet <wink>. I was a COMPLETE contouring virgin, and I could not believe how easy this was. I was so excited when I felt that I nailed it the first time, and it can only get better!
