get it together.

I am going to share something that I posted to Facebook the other day. It inspired a few folks there, so enjoy! :)

I was thinking this morning, about how circumstances end up defining who we are. You can blaze through a rough patch with determination, but inevitably, there will be good AND bad days. Bad weeks. Bad hours even. It happens to the best of us. Some days, you will feel like you have it all together. You have all of the faith in the world. You make plans. You set incredible goals. You truly believe it can be better. You believe you deserve that. You simply feel amazing with no explanation. Some days, you will feel a sense of hopelessness. The world looks dark. The future uncertain. You shoot down all that is good. If you could, you would sleep for a week to not have to face the world. All of those plans and goals that you made during the high times suddenly seem overwhelming and unattainable. Your sense of purpose diminishes. All with no real explanation. I am still a student of this life [as we all always are], but I realize how important it is to happily blaze through those hopeless times with consistency. It really is a choice. Remember how at some points in time, the same circumstances were presented, but you managed to find an open window of hope. Without explanation. Do it every day. Every hour. Negative circumstances will try and control you. However, they will only succeed if you let them. Reach higher, for yourself. A positive mind and attitude WILL attract positive happenings. Have faith in that. Watch the amazingness pour in. The power is within us to take that burden off of our shoulders and live the life we were designed to live. If you consistently follow-up two steps forward with two or more steps backwards, you will spend life doing the cha-cha, never moving UP. That will not get us to the next level, now will it? "Decide what you want to be, do, and have, think the thoughts of it, emit the frequency, and your vision will become your life." ~The Secret
